Master of Management
The Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and The University of Lyon II
Considering the needs of a regional approach in the field of higher education as well as the specific needs of developing countries in Asia, the
Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and the University of Lyon II decided to strengthen their cooperation by creating a cooperative Master of Management to be offered at the Faculty of Law and Economics.
Students having completed their studies in the RULE and University of Lyon II Pre-Master joint-program will be qualified to apply to the AIT Bilingual MBA program. Within this program, the selected students will follow the Euro-Asian dual degree track (one year at AIT + one year in a European partner institution).
The objective of the Master Degree in Management is to supply the Cambodian economy with an annual quota of high-level managers in accordance with the wishes expressed by the local companies, Cambodian as well as foreign. The degree is aimed at students with a
bachelor's degree or an equivalent diploma in management or economics and professionals with training in higher education that are to integrate economic knowledge with a high level of responsibility. Enrollment is also open to engineers from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) or students with a bachelor's degree in related fields.
The first year is in conjunction with School of Management (SOM)-Asian institute of Technology (AIT), which is ranked as the fourth best MBA program in the Asia pacific region according to Asia Week magazine. Professors from Lyon II, SOM and FLE (PhDs) lecturers will be teaching the various courses. The cooperative Master of Management program began in October, 2002.

AIT was founded 40 years ago as the SEATO
Graduate School to be a leading institution of higher education in Asia.
Since its inception, it has established a unique regional and multicultural
position. The AIT School of Management was founded in 1987 by the Government of
France.
The University of Lyon II
The University of Lyon II was founded in 1970 and since its
inception, is one of the leading institutions of higher education in France and
Europe. It has established a joint program with the Faculty of Law and
Economics since 1994 with the support of the Government of France.
Curriculum :
The Master of Management is a tow-year
course, which includes four semesters of teaching and two internships
consisting of 3 to 4 months each. An internship of 3-4 months will be conducted
at the end of the second and the fourth semester. With these internships,
students will broaden their professional experiences. From July-September,
students can take a remediation course in Management, French and English if
necessary. Each semester includes twelve weeks.
